Last week, our community hall transformed into an energetic studio space for our seasonal Youth Empowerment Workshop. Participants spent three intensive days learning media production, digital storytelling, and project management alongside seasoned industry professionals. The energy in the room was contagious as small teams collaborated to produce their own short documentary clips.
Building Skills Through Hands-On Collaboration
Rather than focusing purely on theoretical lectures, every module encouraged attendees to grab cameras and work directly with lighting equipment and audio tools. Our photo gallery from the event captures the genuine focus and excitement on every participant's face. Watching young creators discover confidence behind the camera was the absolute highlight of the program.
Expanding Access Across the Region
Because demand for this program exceeded our initial capacity, we have uploaded full video recaps and key presentation slides to our media portal. Anyone interested in joining the next cohort can watch these clips to see exactly what to expect. We are already preparing new dates for the upcoming season, complete with expanded mentor slots.
